The Nirma Knitting Manufacturing Factory, an institution founded by the late Bharti Biswas, a distinguished National Award recipient. Beyond its renowned legacy in manufacturing excellence, the visionary Bharti Biswas also initiated the establishment of IRIS Health Point. Iris Eye Hospital stands as the cornerstone of our collective efforts, serving as the flagship institution of our NGO. The proprietress of the unit had to fight to gain credibility in a male dominated world, The unit has never been a high-profile brand. But it has evolved as a ‘Brand’ that has consistently won the faith of the users and that’s because of quality that makes ‘Nirma’ products. This is a unit that learned by growing, grew by learning step by step and the dream got bigger. This is a unit built on human resources’ devotion as a team and obviously of skilled artisans, experienced faculties (women) who imparts training of women candidates which is a continuous process at the unit office at Chandpara or at the door step of target group under Govt. and N.G.O. sponsored programmes.
